Rand De Mattei’s primary focus is to guide the company’s growth in providing raven pistachio protection services to California growers. In general, De Mattei seeks to develop and transfer HSL’s agriculture and conservation technologies into profitable applications beyond conservation science, and into commercial and governmental facilities to protect their assets from avian damage.
De Mattei is a business professional with experience in marketing and executive roles in Fortune 100 companies (McGraw-Hill Publications, Chiquita Brands International) and consulting to startup ventures. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management and his career expertise includes: sales, professional presentations, financial spreadsheet modeling, business plan writing, company formation, market analysis, research, branding, business development and all things marketing. De Mattei sits on HSL’s Executive Committee.
